Teyon is an experienced development studio with numerous titles to its credit. We employ over 150 employees, and apart from Krakow, we are also located in Łódź, Warsaw, and even Tokyo.
Teyon is looking for talented people who will support us with their skills, knowledge, and ideas for our upcoming project. This new action RPG game for PC and console will be developed by the team, responsible for our previous titles Terminator: Resistance and RoboCop: Rogue City.

Duties
  • Independently create high-quality 3D environments, props, and assets.
  • Collaborate closely with the lead and design teams to understand artistic and gameplay requirements.
  • Model, texture, and optimize 3D assets for various game platforms.
  • Develop and maintain efficient art pipelines and workflows.
  • Create detailed and visually appealing environments that align with the game's artistic direction.
  • Collaborate with technical artists to implement and optimize assets in the game engine.
  • Troubleshoot and solve art-related technical issues.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry-standard software and techniques.
Required skills
  • Proficient in industry-standard 3D modeling and texturing software (e.g. Blender Maya, Substance Painter, ZBrush).
  • Strong understanding of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) principles and material creation.
  • Experience with sculpting and high-poly to low-poly asset workflow.
  • Experience with mid-poly asset workflow
  • Knowledge of texturing using trims
  • In-depth knowledge of game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, including material and shader creation.
  • Ability to create and optimize assets for various platforms and hardware specifications.
  • Advanced skills in environmental design, composition, and storytelling through environments.
  • Knowledge about Unreal Engine 5 features
  • Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in creating procedural textures and materials.
  • Knowledge of 3D scanning and photogrammetry workflows.
  • Proficiency in shader programming (e.g., HLSL or GLSL).
  • Familiarity with terrain generation tools and plugins.
  • Scripting or programming skills in languages such as Python or C#.
  • Experience with VR/AR development tools and platforms.
  • Understanding of optimization techniques for VR and mobile platforms.
  • Familiarity with physically-based simulation for environmental effects (e.g., fluid dynamics, cloth simulation).
  • Knowledge of architectural visualization software and techniques.
